12-13-14, A VERY SPECIAL DATE
Saturday, December 13, 2014 would have been Trevor Tonsing’s 21st birthday. This young man, born with a heart defect and a frequent patient at Oakland’s Children’s Hospital, invited Las Trampas to participate in his Eagle Scout project…making fleece blankets so that every child at the hospital always had his or her own blanket. Sadly, Trevor passed away on his 16th birthday, but his parents have continued his vision, working with our Day Program. To celebrate his 21st birthday, regionally Boy Scouts troops are making blankets and Las Trampas presented the Tonsings with 30 blankets!
Happy 21st Birthday, Trevor!
